Valeriya Semenyuk

Written by

The medical doctor, licensed aesthetician, and Skinnovation’s founder moved to the United States after earning a medical degree in internal medicine in her home country of Ukraine.

When Valeriya came to San Francisco, California, she saw that most people were choosing either spas or medical clinics for their skin care. Spas offer a luxurious and relaxing environment, but the treatments generally only provide temporary results. Conversely, medical clinics focus on more invasive treatments, which is not the right fit for everyone.

This inspired Semenyuk to start Skinnovation, where experienced aestheticians can bring the best of both worlds by offering treatments that feel good and produce visible results. Skinnovation treatments and home maintenance programs are aimed at improving skin health and resilience in the long-term, while dramatically reducing the effects of sun damage, scarring, wrinkling, acne, and other issues.

Skinnovation offers innovative, science-backed, and evidence-based skin care products that utilize high-quality concentrated formulations that deliver results consistently. That is why Skinnovation selected DMK as its brand partner. DMK products enable Skinnovation’s aestheticians to perform highly customized treatments and incorporate advanced modalities, such as microcurrent, LED light therapy, and to expand the range of services. This makes treatments more versatile. As a brand, DMK is a strong and supportive business partner; as a tight-knit professional community, DMK continues playing a critical role in providing Skinnovation with a competitive edge. This is critical, especially during these turbulent times.
