Massage Envy unveiled a first-of-its-kind program to enhance the health and wellness of professional therapists and aestheticians at its 2017 Franchise Conference. The new program includes training and best practices that will help their 25,000 therapists, who collectively work in Massage Envy franchised locations, put their own health first. It will be integrated into the culture, treating therapists and aestheticians like professional wellness athletes to encourage health and wellness among staff, allowing them to respond more quickly to early signs of injury. "We're first in the industry to do this, and we've developed an entirely new model to take better care of the therapists and aestheticians who care for more than 1.65 million Massage Envy members," said Massage Envy's chief executive officer, Joe Magnacca. "We looked carefully at what matters to therapists and created a program to proactively help them overcome the biggest barriers to their wellness, happiness, and career longevity."Want to read more?
