Three sustainably-minded beauty school students have been named recipients of the Sustainable Success scholarship awarded by the Horst M. Rechelbacher Foundation and administered by Beauty Changes Lives. Each awardee receives a tuition scholarship valued at $2,000 toward her cosmetology education.

Jaila Chambers of the Rudy & Kelly Academy in Portsmouth, Virgina, Acoya Leavitt, of the Paul Mitchell School in Logan, Utah, and Cassie Strickler from the Bellus Academy in Manhattan, Kansas all are recipients of the spring scholarship. Nicole Rechelbacher, daughter of the late Horst Rechelbacher, said the winners reflect her father’s legacy of honoring the environment and celebrating the art of beauty as an entrepreneur, environmentalist, and product visionary. “These winners are blending art, beauty, and business while respecting the planet. I am excited to see how the scholarships will support their journeys as they pay their talent and success forward.”
