National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) elected Carol Ostrow of New York City to its Board of Trustees in recognition of her support as a volunteer, member and donor to the organization. As a member of the NPF New York City Division, Ostrow helps the National Psoriasis Foundation plan events, mobilize volunteers, raise funds for research, advocate for a cure and educate New Yorkers about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. She and her husband, Michael Graff, were instrumental in the success of the Psoriasis Foundation’s inaugural Commit to Cure Gala — held in New York in June 2012 — serving as event chairs and spearheading efforts to raise $1 million for psoriatic disease research.
