Several decades ago, chemical peels became the most common aesthetics procedure, and this trend continues today. Most professionals believe that chemical peels create positive changes in skin, but do they really help? As a physician, I seriously TOOK the oath to “first do no harm.” I think all skin care professionals should also accept this as their motto.
