December is National Write A Business Plan Month

Written by

Business plans outline goals and specify how a business will go about achieving those goals. Although business plans can seem overwhelming and stressful, it does not need to be 24 pages long to be effective. When drafting a business plan, start small and let the plan evolve organically. Business plans can be used in the spa for goals such as adding a new service or switching product lines.

Lauren Balukonis says, "Setting goals and creating detailed timelines associated with them is imperative to successful time management. Several studies have shown that people who write down their goals are more likely to reach them, so jot down both short- and long-term goals and refer to them often to gauge progress. It is also helpful to communicate business goals with employees to ensure that everyone is on the same page and working together to conquer set goals."
