September 18, 2018, prestige hair and beauty brand ECRU New York celebrated the grand opening of its namesake academy in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. The ECRU New York Academy is designed to empower stylists by offering endless opportunities that will motivate and inspire performance, attitude, and growth.

“Our promise is to deliver superior education to stylists and makeup artists all over the world, expanding their knowledge, while ultimately allowing their artistry to flourish to new dimensions,” says Carmen DePasquale, CEO and founder. Mayor Kurt Peluso and Deputy Mayor Gail Rottenstrich attended the event, presenting DePasquale with a certificate declaring September 17, 2018 as ECRU New York Academy Day within the borough of Fair Lawn.

Via guided immersive tours, guests experienced a sampling of the Academy’s vast array of educational classes. Models were on-site for live demonstrations to reflect the curriculum of the academy and were outfitted in this season’s latest fashion.
