COSMEDIX Honors Skin Care Professionals Across the Country in Celebration of the 4th Annual National Aesthetician Month

COSMEDIX, a globally recognized skincare brand at the intersection of luxury and clinical beauty, is proud to celebrate the fourth annual National Aesthetician Month. Founded by the brand in 2016, COSMEDIX dedicates the month of October to recognize the unsung heroes in the world of skin. The luxury skincare brand has also named October 15th National Aesthetician Day—a day devoted to shining a spotlight on skincare professionals who help keep a client’s complexion looking its best!

“National Aesthetician Month is a big deal here at COSMEDIX.” Says Christine Jackson Global Vice President of COSMEDIX “We wanted to make sure that we founded and sponsored a day to celebrate skin care professionals in a special way! This is now a day that is recognized nationwide in the industry! This year, we wanted to celebrate in a unique way with all that is going on in the Nation. That is why we decided to partner with Skin of Color Society and Good360. We want to celebrate diversity along with giving back to communities that are facing hardship. Even though we have faced many challenges in 2020 as a society, we have the opportunity to celebrate those who make us feel our best!”

Created to celebrate the essential role all aestheticians play in a client’s skincare journey, National Aesthetician Month strives to reward the dedication and expertise aestheticians bring to the skincare industry. From performing chemical peels and extractions to teaching proper at-home facials, aestheticians work hard to ensure their clients are equipped with self-confidence that is more than skin deep. The month-long celebration also seeks to spark an educational conversation beyond the skincare community by raising awareness for skin health. As a sponsor for National Aesthetician Month, COSMEDIX highlights the importance of visiting an aesthetician to address skincare concerns and helps educate consumers on proper care for the body’s largest organ—the skin.

As a brand founded by aestheticians for aestheticians, COSMEDIX is always looking to marry education, skin care, and awareness. In honor of National Aesthetician Month, COSMEDIX will recognize two outstanding organizations: Skin of Color Society (S.O.C.S) and Good360. Established in 2004, S.O.C.S is committed to educating the public on the misconceptions and specific skin concerns that are common to skin of color. COSMEDIX will donate a portion of their proceeds to support the mission. The professional skincare brand will also donate products to Good360—a charitable organization that distributes excess goods to communities effected by hardship or natural disasters.
