Use diet to supplement sun protection. Eat foods that are known to enhance the skin’s natural ability to protect itself from the sun, such as tomatoes, vitamins C and E, shrimp, salmon, and pomegranate. Avoid photosensitizing foods, like St. John’s wort, lime, parsley, carrots, parsnip, celery, and lemons, while out in the sun. Want to read more?
