Waxing During Winter

Written by

Waxing sessions should occur all year, not just during the summer months when shorts and swimsuits are most common. There is no reason to let it all grow out; we are not bears! We do not need that kind of protection from cold weather.

Below are a few reasons your customers still need to regularly visit you during the winter months:

  • Waxing improves hair-free smooth skin.
  • Waxing removes dead skin cells for an exfoliated and renewed finish. Save your nylons both from nicks and dead skin flakes.
  • Waxing removes the ugly self-tanning creams left over from the summer.
  • Regular waxing (properly done, without breaking the hair) will not entice ingrown hairs even if the skin is dryer due to winter months.
  • The hair weakens every time you wax it; you want the roots to weaken, so the hair grows back finer, lighter in texture, and almost in patches. Do not stop this flow...
  • Take advantage of your spa’s fidelity card… four more waxing sessions and clients will receive another completely free.
  • It is especially crucial to continue the routine all year. Hair grows in stages and regular waxing encourages hair growth to continue growing at the correct time for optimal hair removal.

Nowadays, some quality waxes deliver high-performance results! They contain special properties to grip hair but never stick to the skin, delivering pain-free sessions. Some feel so comfortable and leave no red spots afterwards.
Waxing has become a real treatment and it is no longer apply and strip; it has become a complete spa service. Pre-depilatory products offer more comfort. Subsequently, post-depilatory products will not only keep skin well-hydrated, but they will also give skin-softening properties all winter through. Get them in retail size! This list can go on and on, but what is most important is that clients wax to make themselves happy.
