Color Up Opens Denver's Newest Center Dedicated to Wellness, Education, & Community

Denver newest one-stop shop for all things wellness opened Jan. 1. Located at 1448 W. Cedar Avenue, the Color Up Wellness Center is a community space designed to promote health & wellness while stimulating human connection. Offerings at the 8,800-square-foot center include spa & wellness services from highly trained professionals, educational opportunities, a social lounge, local artist gallery and a variety of community events.

“The Color Up Wellness Center reopens in a new location at a time when our city and country need and deserve wellness, support and connection more than ever,” says Color Up COO and Co-founder Shauna Blanch, LMT, RYT. Blanch, alongside co-founders Bryce Conley and Will Parker, launched Color Up in 2015 and built their first Wellness Center in Denver in 2017. The three have backgrounds in science and education and are nationally known experts on plant-based medicine. Color Up’s award-winning products are formulated and produced on-site at the Wellness Center, which also serves as the brand’s headquarters.

Featured in the January issue of Denver Life, the Color Up Wellness Center is an airy space filled with sunlight, plants and artwork. More than 15 local therapists and educators work from the Center offering an array of spa services and classes. With seven treatment rooms, services include facials, massage, brows, lashes, nails, waxing and microblading from notable estheticians Liz Aigner of Glow Massage, Veronica Tristan of NVUS Brows & Skincare and Emily Anderson of Vital Kneads Bodywork.

“The estheticians and massage therapists working within the Color Up Wellness Center are trained extensively and ready to educate clients on the many uses and benefits of plant-derived body and skincare. The therapists live in Colorado and understand the unique needs of skin in our climate. Most are trained in oncology treatments and utilize the oncology-approved, professional line of Color Up products in their services,” adds Blanch.

The spacious Center will be the setting for socially distanced classes including breathwork, yoga, dance, journaling and art that are offered to the community. This spring, the indoor-outdoor event space will also host local social club Archipelago Clubs; a participatory community built on dynamic experiences, deep personal connection and human betterment. With a common desire to continuously expand the opportunities offered to their members, the two organizations have teamed up to weave a more diverse community experience.

The Center has a large outdoor area that includes a garden where fresh herbs will be grown to be used in teas, treatments and community experiences. Retail items include local jewelry; crystals; candles; transformational superfoods & tonics; Color Up products; and original art from This Fitz on your Wall, Stacy Devanney and Claudia Tryon.

The Color Up Wellness Center is open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. MST, Monday-Friday. Parking is available in the front lot and on the street. Due to COVID restrictions and the commitment to keeping the community safe and healthy, masks must be worn at all times and social distancing is required.
