When meeting a new client, it is important to understand their needs and concerns. As professionals, we instinctively want to begin helping their skin, but I love the quote, “Nobody cares how much you know until they know you care.” Listening is our first job. We can build life time relationships in this business, so always give your full attention. Before beginning, ask these key questions: Do you have any allergies? If so, what? Are you pregnant or nursing? Are you on medication? If so, what? Are you under a physician’s care? If so, for what? When was your last facial? Do you receive facials regularly? What is your skin care regimen? What is your goal today or desired result? How did you hear about us? Do you get fillers or anti-wrinkle injections? Have you received any peeling treatments?
