A wedding can be one of the most exciting and stressful days in a woman’s life. With all eyes on the bride, many feel pressure to look and feel their absolute best. Whether the bride wants to slim down or have flawless skin and makeup for her wedding pictures, the skin care professional is in the perfect position make that happen. Every bride-to-be wants to look her absolute best on her wedding day, especially when it comes to weight and size. While many brides attend bridal boot camps and start strict diet regimens, they may find themselves struggling to lose a few stubborn pounds or reduce the appearance of cellulite. In this situation, the solution to the problem may reside within the spa. There are a number of body treatments that will vary in their effectiveness. Therefore, depending on the results the bridal client is looking for and the number of months until the big day, different treatments will be ideal for every client. Body Wraps. This treatment is ideal for clients that would like to lose a few inches anywhere from a few weeks to a few days before their wedding. Body wraps do not require downtime or more than one treatment. Infrared and Radio Frequency Treatments. This treatment is great for the bride-to-be that has a few months before her big day and would like to contour her body. Most of these treatments require multiple sessions (at least three) and can take months to see significant results. Clients may also experience redness at the site of treatment. Cryolipolysis. This treatment is a form of cryotherapy and is great for bridal clients with a significant amount of time before their wedding and those that are interested in a treatment that affects more than just appearance. Cryolipolysis destroys fat cells by cooling a localized area to freezing temperatures. In response to the low temperature, the subcutaneous fat tissue in that area experiences cell death.
