When you walk into Beauty Ritual Skincare, clients can sense that the aim is to make them feel welcomed and cared for. Located in a prestigious Fort Myers, Florida neighborhood, our clients say that Beauty Ritual Skincare is the most luxurious and welcoming spa for all skin types to be cared for. At Beauty Ritual Skincare, in addition to performing relaxing treatments, we put our full focus on tackling all cosmetic skin concerns, such as acne and hyperpigmentation. All employees are experts in their chosen areas of interest, ranging from waxing to acne. With our collective diversity of training and experience, we provide a comprehensive range of services. As a community-minded organization, our staff seeks charitable opportunities for support. When the COVID-19 crisis initially hit, we donated our personal protective equipment (PPE) to the local healthcare system. When there were children in need of a safe place to visit with their parents in need, we donated to support the local Family Resource Center of Southwest Florida. In addition, we learned there were children with special learning needs who were helped by a specialized school environment. Once again, Beauty Ritual Skincare stepped up to donate our services, funding scholarships for those families who are unable to pay for this specialty learning environment. The spa’s most recent achievement was having the founder of Beauty Ritual Skincare, Rachel File on the cover of DERMASCOPE's December issue. This was a major achievement that gave us all encouragement for the new year. How long have you been a licensed aesthetician, and what made youHow long have you been a licensed aesthetician, and what made you join the industry? I began my aesthetics career in 2014 when I became a licensed practical nurse. I immediately jumped into performing procedures such as microneedling and chemical peels. I fell in love with these treatments, as I could apply my nursing knowledge with aesthetics to help people improve their skin. As I continued my education to become a registered nurse, my collective knowledge and hands-on experience grew over time. As a result, I felt a deep desire to turn my passion into a career. What pushed you to open your own spa, and what pushed you to open your own spa, and at what point in your career did you open it? Owning a beauty business has been a dream of mine since I was ten-years-old. After working out of a small room in an orthopedic office, I grew increasingly lonely. I wanted to be around other people who shared my passion and had a similar appreciation for aesthetics. The business was growing, and I was running out of available appointment times. I knew these circumstances demanded that I expand. I searched for a year to find the perfect location. Once I saw the space, I immediately knew it was the one. What product do you try to retail to every client? I believe every aesthetician can agree that sunscreen should be their most retailed product. We know Sunscreen Ritual is the most important in all our client’s skin care routine. Our second favorite is Pro Heal Advance+ Serum by iS Clinical. Favorite skin concern to treat? Acne. What is your favorite treatment to receive? I am obsessed with the Vi Peel. I am in love with the results it gives. It is also the quickest and safest way for me to manage my hyperpigmentation. To add, it is the most comfortable peel I ever have received – and I have tried many. Where do you see your business in the next 5 years? As the top spa in southwest Florida with three to five locations (or more if that is where God takes me) and seven figures in revenue.
